A restaurant specialising in Asian cuisine will open tomorrow, Friday, after a private opening to family and friends this evening, Thursday.
Jaan's Restaurant is set to welcome customers for the first time tomorrow, Friday, July 21, at its home on the corner of Blackburn Road and Waters Meeting Road.
The Bolton News reported last week that it would be coming to the town after the success of Jaan's in Blackburn, with demand for them to open a branch in the borough.
They held an initial opening tonight, Thursday, for family and friends, with the Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Mohammed Ayub, cutting the ribbon.
The restaurant, which will seat 150 people, is co-run by brothers Saadullah and Hamdullah Waseem, who also run the Jaan's restaurant in Blackburn.
It will serve Asian curries, pizzas, barbecue food, burgers, steaks and grills.
Fahdullah Waseem, who will also be co-running the restaurant, said: "We are very happy for the opening tomorrow. Hopefully it will be busy.
"It is a very big, massive, step. We are very happy. And we want to expand even more after Bolton, such as London after this.

"It is the biggest step we have made."
The restaurant will specialise in Karahi and Tawa grill foods.
Bolton mayor, Cllr Mohammed Ayub, said: "It is great for Bolton as a town, we welcome businesses coming in to Bolton and I think this will to bring in families.
"It is a nice set up, I can see it is of a high standard."
In relation to this being their second restaurant in the UK, Cllr Ayub added: "They have experience so they must know what they are doing.
"The owner has said he looked all around Bolton and picked this spot because they think it is the best. I wish them well."
