Police are appealing for information following reports of a woman being assaulted in a contry park.
At around 10am on Tuesday 11 July, a woman was reportedly assaulted by a man while on a walk in Blackleach Country Park, Walkden.
Following the incident, the man ran off towards Linnyshaw Garden Centre.
The man was described as white, with blonde hair, a red jacket and black pants, walking an Alsatian dog.
Officers in Salford are currently investigating the incident and are providing support to the woman involved.
Inspector Steve Corless, for GMP's Salford district, said: "Our officers are currently investigating the full circumstances of this incident and we want to reassure the community that we are determined to bring about a positive result.
"I would please ask anyone who was in the park at that time and may have seen something to please get in touch."
