A police dog helped officers make an arrest in Bolton yesterday after sniffing out a ‘large quantity’ of drugs following an on-foot chase.
Officers arrested the driver of a white Skoda yesterday, July 15, after officers suspected the vehicle had been cloned.
After failing to stop for police, the driver is reported to have abandoned the car and run from officers.
The driver was detained after an on-foot chase and police called in the aid of PD Ringo.
The police dog was able to track down the keys to the vehicle and discovered a 'large quantity of drugs'.
The driver was then arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and possession of drugs with intent to supply.
