The party of the summer is back at one of Bolton’s most prestige and historic buildings.
The annual Smithills Hall Garden Party is set to return with hundreds expected to visit one of Bolton’s most historic halls.
Around 4,000 visitors came to the last garden party, and those behind the prestigious event are looking forward to welcoming people back, as well as some new faces.
A whole host of stalls will be set up, with plenty of family friendly activities, and options for adults too, with a beer and wine tent available.

Co-owner of Bake & Roast at Smithills Hall, Anna Worthington says that whilst they had a stall last year, she was especially excited to be even more involved in the event.
She said: “We did it last year with a stall and it was amazing with so many people, and it introduced us to a wider audience.
“This year we are going to be able to have an event.
“I feel quite honoured because it’s such a fabulous building and a real gem.”
Bake & Roast will be running a pre booked afternoon tea event, but they will also run a stall with lots of hot options and delights to choose from, as well as cream tea – subject to availability.
The tearoom handmakes 90 per cent of their food, and Anna says the business has gone from strength to strength since opening last December.
The event is also completely free to attend too.
It will take place on Sunday July 16, from 12pm to 4pm at Smithills Hall, Dean Road, BL1 7NP.
