Horwich Garden of Remembrance, where the walk will begin, in 1955
A guided history walk is set to take place in Horwich.
Horwich Heritage will be hosting the walk around Bob's Brew on Wednesday, August 2, taking in its medieval hall and the waterfall.
The walk will meet at the Garden of Remembrance on Lever Park Avenue at 1.30pm and will aim to return there by 3.30pm-3.45pm.
It will take in parts of Anderton.
Those taking part will hear the background of the medieval hall, the famous waterfall and ancient tracks. And find out what was the Tottering Temple.
The event is one of many the centre puts on for local people to explore the heritage of the town and celebrate its past.
