A Bolton teenager has shared his excitement for the next round of The Voice Kids after a Bromley Cross judge took a shine to the rising star.
Will Edgar, 15, made his debut on ITV's The Voice Kids on Saturday, July 8, winning the hearts of viewers, 'Boltonians' and former McFly star, Danny Jones, who is also from Bolton.

Having previously hoped for Danny to be the one to turn his chair, Will’s dream not only came true, but he also performed a duet with Danny who exclaimed, "Careful, the Bolton boys are here."
Will said: “It was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t believe he turned, thankfully I managed to keep it together and carry on but I couldn’t believe it.
“The response from everyone since then has been incredible.
"Everyone has been supportive across all areas of the performance and even the duet and I have had a lot of really nice comments, especially on social media.
“I can’t wait for the battles, not only do I get to perform but I also get to perform with amazing people and so no matter who gets through team Danny should definitely win."
Will, who often performs at the Blind Tiger in Rawtenstall and is a busker in Bury said that the positive support online has helped him build more confidence for the ‘battles’ this weekend.
Dad, Mark Edgar, said: “He is up against some tough competition, but he is excited for the next round.
“We’re so happy Danny chose him to be on his team because of the Bolton link and from a guitar-playing perspective, he is the one we thought would be really good for him.
“Will works so hard and he is currently recording a new single for his second album at a recording studio in Heywood so we have that to look forward to as well.”
Will made his debut on the show with his guitar to perform Niall Horan's Nice to Meet You and will reappear on Saturday, July 15.
For the next round, the coaches will divide their teams into five battle trios each, and then the first two trios from each team compete in the battle ring before their coach chooses one artist from each trio to advance to the sing-offs.
Will said: "Bar Four, in The Vaults in the Market Place Shopping Centre, Bolton, has kindly offered to host a semi-finals night, and hopefully finals.
"Come down and join us for a celebration with some live music from me and a few friends of mine.
"Will be an amazing night of youth talent on show on both the TV and live."
