Police caught a driver who smashed the speed limit and a driver who was over the alcohol limit during an eventful evening in Bolton.
GMP Bolton shared the results with a pair of posts on social media over the weekend.
The first of these posts said special constables were on a speed operation on Smithills Dean Road, Smithills, when a driver smashed the speed limit. They travelled at more than 60mph in a 30mph, the post said.
The second of these posts said special constables were on the scene of a crash on Deakins Mill Way, Egerton, where the driver was over the alcohol limit. They were more than three times the limit, the post said.
GMP Bolton did not reveal the outcome for the first driver, although the second driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
