A Bolton teenager has been charged by police investigating reports of an attempted armed robbery.
Mario Moro, aged 18, has been charged by officers after an incident on Starkie Road in Tonge Moor on Monday, July 3.
Moro, of Monks Lane in Breightmet, has been charged with attempted robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear, and possession of cannabis.
He has been remanded in police custody and is set to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court today, Wednesday, July 5.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "A man has been charged following an incident on Starkie Road, Tonge Moor, on Monday 3 July 2023.
"Mario Moro (21/01/05), of Monks Lane, Bolton, has been charged with attempted robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear, and possession of cannabis."
