There is still time to sign up and stand a chance of becoming Bolton's next big thing.
Bolton-based Backup North West is organising Stars for A Night, supported by The Bolton News and Bolton FM, to celebrate all that is great about the people of Bolton.
The live auditions are taking place this month, and it is open to all aspiring performers in Bolton - especially dancers, bands, music groups to entertain the town and prove Bolton is full of talent.
They will be in a chance to be named as the winner of Stars For A Night.
The winner will get £250 cash prize, a free consultation for PR worth £200 and the chance to perform at Backup Charity Ball in 2024, where previous guests have included Heather Small and Sophie Willan.
Bolton is already full of talented individuals including actor Sir Ian McKellan, Paddy McGuinness and even Helen Flanagan.
Maura Jackson, CEO of Backup said: "I wanted to run an event that showcases the talent we have across Bolton.
"I want to give opportunities for people to get involved in something that’s free, fun and brings elements of the community together.”
The competition is free to enter and open to anyone over 14 years of age.

Live auditions will take place this month, finalists will be announced on August 14 and the finale will take place on Friday, September 29 at Cloisters.
The event is being supported by The Bolton News and Bolton FM, as media partners. The Bolton News editor Richard Duggan will be one of the judges at the live final.
