Schoolchildren's artwork was given pride of place in a display in the middle of the town centre.
Pupils at St Peter's CE Primary School, Farnworth, had their art displayed in the front window of Market Place Shopping Centre.
Bolton Cultural Education Partnership have been displaying children's artwork at the shopping centre, which they call their Schools’ Showcase Window.
St Peter's CE School pupils put up a selection of art work produced under the guidance of their art teacher Natasha Langley earlier this month.
Natasha said: "We are proud to be associated with this initiative to promote art in schools across Bolton.
"Our school's art department has been recognised by Ofsted as outstanding and we support other schools across the country to develop Art and Design Technology in their own setting."
The work that was on show in the window was produced by the Key Stage Two children.
The eye-catching display included landscape paintings inspired by historical artists such as John Constable to modern local artists such as Liam Spencer.
There were also portrait paintings inspired by Stephen Bennett, Mandy Tsung and Albert Tucker, all showing different styles and techniques.
3D work includes clay masks inspired by Greek and Egyptian culture, alongside textiles pieces inspired by the Great Saxons.
Bolton Cultural Education Partnership exists to help ensure all pupils and students in Bolton Schools can experience quality arts education whether it is in school or in a wider community setting.
