A range of events are set to be held at a cricket club later this summer, all in the cause of helping to end homelessness.
The summer fair will be held towards the end of August at Bolton Cricket Club and will feature music, games and stalls.
Organiser Jessica Rigby has planned to event to raise money for the Crisis charity.
She said: “There will be stalls from small local vendors, lots of food, a face painter and bouncy castle, and we have a local singer called Will Edgar coming down playing a set.
“I have contacted the fire brigade and St John’s ambulance too in the hope that they can bring their vehicles down, and I’m really hoping for a visit from the Mayor!
“We are also looking to do a raffle and a beat the goalie game, so I will be reaching out to different companies and supermarkets for prize donations, as well as Bolton Wanderers to see if we can borrow their goalie for a couple of hours, fingers crossed!”
Ms Rigby says has received plenty of help from her friend Naz Vander and from Cllr Emily Mort, who represents Tonge with the Haulgh on Bolton Council.
She hopes that together they can make the event “a really great day for the whole family” for a “wonderful cause.”
According to Ms Rigby, 227,000 families across the UK faced homelessness over the last year, a figure which she says is increasing and is “unacceptable” in the fifth richest country in the world.

But the fair is not the end of her efforts to help Crisis in their efforts to fight and end homelessness in the UK.
Just a month after the fair she will be taking part in Lava Trek across Iceland, which is a three day walk across volcanic terrain which she will be documenting on Facebook and TikTok, again to raise funds for the same cause.
The summer fair is currently set to take place on Sunday August 20 at Bolton Cricket Club from noon to 5.30pm.
In the meantime, Jessica Rigby’s Iceland Lava Trek fundraiser can be found online at JustGiving.
