An outdoor adventure centre that is “truly treasured” by visiting Bolton families has won a top business award.
This comes after the annual Freshies Awards, held this year at Rivington Barn just last week.
Amongst other winners, the Anderton Centre was recognised with the “most treasured team” award for the second year running.
CEO and director of learning David Germaine said: "The centre boasts the most treasured team thanks to its exceptional qualities and unwavering commitment.
"Each member is not only highly skilled but also deeply passionate about their work, creating a remarkable synergy that elevates their performance.
"They embody a strong sense of camaraderie, supporting and motivating one another through challenges and triumphs.
"Their genuine care for each other and their clients fosters an environment of trust and collaboration, where ideas flourish and innovative solutions are born."
The Freshies is an annual Lancashire based award ceremony that aims to bring together and celebrate businesses from across the region.
This year, the not-for-profit event managed to raise around £16,500 to share between four chosen charities, one of which is the Anderton Centre itself.
The centre was handed the most treasured team award after judged deemed that it had gone “above and beyond to engage with and care for its team members.”
This marks yet another plaudit won by the Rivington based centre over recent months after having been honoured with both the Leisure and Tourism Business of the Year Award and the Education Business of the Year Award at the Be Inspired Business Awards last September.

The centre had previously been a runner up in the Most Resilient Business Category at the previous year’s BIBAs.
Having now been recognised by the Freshies, Mr Germaine hopes this will show his team just how valued they are by the wider community.
He said: "The team at the Anderton Centre is truly cherished and admired, making all its members an invaluable asset to the organisation."
