The Bolton News Careers Fair rolls into town today bringing with it huge job opportunities to suit everyone.
There will be plenty of options and advice for those looking to get on the career ladder to those wanting a career change.
Some of the town's biggest companies and organisation will be showcasing a number of vacancies.
Mark Fry, Commercial Partnerships / Events Director, at The Bolton News said: "This is The Bolton News first Careers Fair.
"We want to help local people find local work and support businesses on the difficult process of finding the right people.
"From speaking to many businesses in our town there are lots of local jobs including full time, part time, apprentices and volunteers, there really is no need to work outside Bolton, it’s all on your doorstep.
"We are proud to announce that Diamond North West is our partner for the Careers Fair."
The fair opens at 10am at Bolton Arena and goes on until 4.30pm
All week we have been introducing those exhibiting at the fair.
The final two companies looking for local people are Bolton Deaf Society and Thera North.
Bolton Deaf Society will be promoting its new Employment and Enterprise Service for D/deaf people.
A spokesman said "We will also be helping D/deaf people at careers’ fair by offering communication support.
"Not all employers know how to make their employment opportunities accessible to D/deaf people – and they could be breaking the Equality Act 2010 without realising it!
"We will be on hand to offer free advice at the Fair, and share information about the support that Bolton Deaf Society can offer employers in future, too.
"We can provide employers with Deaf Awareness Training, training in basic sign language skills, and help companies to book BSL interpreters.
"There are still employers out there who don’t know about the government’s Access to Work scheme and how it can fund essential equipment such as flashing fire alarms, as well as communication support for a deaf employee. Information will be available on hearing dogs too. We will be giving out useful information about how you can welcome assistance dogs into your team.
"This is an exciting period of growth for Bolton Deaf Society, and we will be sure to share with people any new opportunities to work or volunteer with the deaf community in Bolton while we are at the careers’ fair.
"We are really looking forward to meeting you all. Look out for our stand and come and say hello."
