A woman from Bolton was found dead at her home after concerns were raised for her welfare, an inquest has heard.
Nicola Donnelly was discovered deceased at her home in Benjamin Court on Slater Street on March 24 this year.
An inquest into the 45-year-old's death opened at Bolton Coroners Court on Monday.
The court heard that concerns for Ms Donnelly's welfare were aired on March 24 as she had not been seen for several days.
She was discovered in her home that day and shortly before 5pm she was pronounced dead.
The hearing was told a postmortem examination was carried out on April 4 and the cause of death was given as combined toxicity of morphine and methadone, and there were no suspicious circumstances.
Coroner Peter Siggee ordered a full inquest to take place in August and asked the police coronors officer to establish whether Ms Donnelly was known to drugs or mental health services.
