Retail giant Aldi will be attending The Bolton News Careers Fair on Thursday,June 29 to showcase its new apprenticeship opportunities.

A variety of local and national businesses will be present at the Bolton Arena Sports Village to present available job prospects across the North West ­— and among them will be Britain’s fourth largest supermarket, Aldi.

The supermarket chain has revealed its plans to recruit 10 apprentices before the end of 2023 within the Bolton Distribution Centre.

The newly recruited apprentices will become part of the Warehouse Operations team, an integral piece of the supply chain.

The Logistics Apprenticeship teaches people how products get from suppliers to customers’ shopping baskets, whilst working towards a level two supply chain operative qualification.

Named in the "Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers", Aldi offers opportunities to learn on the job over a one-year programme, with ongoing guidance and mentorship to grow within the business, and to top it all off, a generous salary of £240 per week.

At the end of the programme Aldi offer permanent positions to those who relish the challenge, with long term career development opportunities.
