A celebration to mark the 75th anniversary of the HMT Empire Windrush arriving on UK shores was celebrated across Bolton.
Bolton Museum held a music event to mark the arrival of the ship that brought over thousands of people from the Caribbean to help rebuild the UK after World War II.
It was a significant moment in history, marking the beginning of a new chapter in British society.

An "amazing" line-up of musicians were at Bolton Museum, including Clive Hunte, Sarah Yaseen, Reem Anbar, and Arian Sadr.
They all call the UK their home after arriving from different parts of the world and their diverse musical backgrounds and instruments made the evening not one to forget.
Sarah Yaseen is a Sufi-soul singer with family roots in Kashmir and performs songs mainly in Urdu but also Punjabi, Arabic and English.

Reem Anbar is an oud player from Palestine and has experience as both a performer and practitioner in psychodrama and music therapy in Gaza.
Reem was born in Saudi Arabia and left when she was around six, living in Gaza until 2017 when she moved to Manchester.
Clive Hunte is a bassist and session musician from Manchester but with family roots in Barbados.
He has played bass for Lily Allen’s first album and appeared in season one and two of Peaky Blinders as a jazz musician.
Arian Sadr is a Persian drummer who moved to the UK in 2003.
He started learning the tonbak which is a goblet drum and the daf which is a circular drum since he was seven.
He now teaches hand drumming skills in workshops and one-to-ones through schools and community groups.
