Tickets are now on sale for a special concert to be held in memory of a baby boy who died at just over an hour old.

Shannon Lomax, from Breightmet, previously shared the painful experience of losing her son Joshua Brindle with The Bolton News last month.

At around 8.30 am on Saturday, March 25, Shannon said that her waters broke due to an unknown infection, and she stayed at the Royal Bolton Hospital where they gave her some antibiotics.

But tragically he died due to extreme prematurity.

The concert is designed to raise funds for a cuddle cot to allow families to have extra time to grieve the loss of their child, allowing the baby to remain with the family for a couple of days whilst keeping the baby cool.

The concert will be held on July 15 from 7.30pm at Christ Church, Mytham Road.

Music performed by The Eden Singers will be performing hit songs from the 1940's right up to present date.

Tickets cost £12 per person and can be purchased by contacting Adrian Yapp on 07766 140 386 or by emailing him at adrianjy48@outlook.com.

Refreshments will be available, as well as a raffle, where several companies have given prizes and some have made cash donations, with Carrs' Pasties doing both.

The aim is to reach £1,700 which is the cost of a cuddle cot.

They are also keen for more people to get in touch if they are able to make a donation or offer prizes.
