Police have issued a drug warning to a youth after they were found with cannabis.
Following complaints of anti-social behaviour on Brookfold Lane in Harwood, officers from Greater Manchester Police stopped the group of youths and found one with cannabis in their possssion.
The officers issued a warning on cannabis.
A spokesman for Police said: "Following complaints of anti-social behaviour on Brookfold Lane, #Harwood, officers from Neighbourhood #Team2 stopped a group of youths earlier this week.
"One was found to be in possession of cannabis and was issued with a cannabis warning."
It comes as a drugs prevention campaign works in Bolton to help educate young people aroud the use of drugs.
The new Leader of Bolton Council, Cllr Nick Peel visited the Flowhesion Foundation alongside local Halliwell councillors Rabiya Jiva, Kevin Morris and Safwaan patel to hear about the work being undertaken by a local drugs awareness campaign.
The ‘Just say no! drugs campaign’ now in its second year is a joint collaboration led by The Centre of Excellence, The Flowhesion Foundation and involving dozens of other local faith, community and voluntary organisations.
Cllr Nick Peel said: ‘It’s so encouraging to see the momentum this campaign has gained since it began and how credible organisations have come together to spearhead it.
“It’s clear from the engagement the campaign has that people are serious about learning about the issue.
“The supply of illegal substances and their tragic affects are constant reminders as to why we need campaigns like this to raise awareness.
