A popular family restaurant in the town centre has undergone a makeover as the owner unveils new plans.
Owner of the town centre Tapaz Restaurant and Bar Tiago Silva says that he makes changes every year, and this year the restaurant was in need of some revamping.
New panelling has been installed at the bar to give it a fresh look.
And more space has been created for dancing during live performances with more benches installed to give customers more of a view in the restaurant

Tiago said: “A lot of people enjoyed their meal and service in the past and they didn’t want to go anywhere else.
“And now we can move the small benches easier, and people can dance in the middle of the restaurant.
“I made changes in the restaurant to make more customers comfortable and provide nice events and evenings for them.
“I try to please all my customers and we are pet, family, and children friendly too.
“My staff helped me to make the improvements.
“They are so grateful and happy to work with the changes that have happened because the changes were made for my staff as well.”
The restaurant is inspired by Tiago’s Portuguese heritage, which serves Mediterranean cuisine.
Although he has put a string of events on in the past, he says that they will now become more consistent.
Tiago moved to Bolton 14 years ago and says it has not always been easy, but he has made it his home.
He said: “We have been putting events on for a while, but not as consistent.
“We have had Brazilian and Latino events on, playing more South American music and making people happy, and feel summery even in the winter.
“People like to feel like they are on holiday.
“It is something that Bolton doesn’t have and something Bolton needs.
“Bolton has become part of me, and I have spent half of my life here.”
Tiago says that since opening in 2015, he has learned a lot from customer feedback and is continuing to take that on board.
The menus are changed every six months, whilst the drink menus are changed yearly, which include adding new cocktails and mocktails.
Chicken and beef halal options are also served as well as vegan and vegetarian choices, which he says are always kept separate from other meat.
The restaurant is located on Bradshawgate.
