The army are showcasing careers at The Bolton News Careers Fair on Thursday 29th June 10am – 4.30pm at Bolton Arena Sports Village, Arena Approach, Horwich, Bolton, BL6 6LB.

The British Army supports people in achieving their personal and professional goals, whether it’s conquering a pull up or taking on a leadership role.

The army is recruiting and there is a breadth of roles and opportunities available in both the regular army and Army Reserve.

They cab take part in adventure training and gain further qualifications such as an apprenticeship or a degree.

- An annual salary over £21,000 after training plus pension as a Soldier, and over £34,500 after training plus pension as an Officer.

• Trained as an apprentice with 40 different schemes, from engineering to animal care.
