The water park is around a 25 minute drive from Bolton and offers a range of activities to keep you busy.

Sale Water Park boasts a lake as well as woodland and meadows with trails you can walk or cycle on.
There’s places to eat and drink and Trafford Water Sports Centre where you can give plenty of activities a try, according to the Visit Manchester website.
These include paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing.
You can launch your own boat or board and equipment is available to hire.
If you’re more interested in activities where you can stay on dry land, there’s also opportunities to take on team building, orienteering and rocket launching.
Holiday clubs take place during the school summer holidays and if you’re looking to drive to the water park, parking is free with approximately 50 spaces available.
When is the water park open?
The water park is open from dawn until dusk with the water sports centre being open from the morning and last hire is at 4pm on select days, the Visit Manchester website states.

Another wrote: “We come here regularly for walks, as it isn’t too far from us and offers a few hours of nice flat walks.
“There’s plenty of activities on offer for on the lake, or plenty of walks in the area - You can walk around the lake, or down the canal with many options to expand / alter the walk through footpaths leading off.
“A nice cafe, public toilets and free parking all available. Very close to the metro station so easy to access by public transport”
