Horwich Fire Station is opening its doors to the public this weekend.
Firefighters will stage mock demonstrations including the aftermath of a car crash in a bid to share safety messages with visitors.
There will be plenty of fun and games for visitors to take part in.
The station on Chorley New Road will hold the open day this Sunday, June 25, from 10am to 4pm.
Billed as 'fun for the whole family', the day will include fairground rides, rescue demonstrations, stalls, fire appliances and opportunities to meet the firefighters.
Former open days at the stations have included appearances from Greater Manchester Police, North West Ambulance Service and the Mountain Rescue team.
They have also previously had crash demonstrations, a driving simulator and more.
Open days like these have also been held at Farnworth Fire Station and Bolton Central Fire Station.
