A cat owner is appealing for help to reunite an adorable brother and sister.
John Bullen, a well-known face in Over Hulton, is desperately searching for Pixie, a beautiful cat, who suddenly disappeared last month - leaving her brother, Walter, visibly upset.
Despite posts on social media urging people to check their gardens and keep an eye out, Pixie has not been found.
John said: "We have had Walter and Pixie for nearly two years, brother and sister and they are adorable.
"Walter would be off on his rambles but Pixie would hardly set foot outside the back garden.
"She disappeared suddenly on Sunday 14th May.
Walter now won't go anywhere and it is heartbreaking to see him. She is such a special little cat, very distinctive black nose and pure white chest, high pitched meow."
He added: "Everyday when we get home they would be sat in the front window waiting for us.
"She is less than two years old, black and white - white chest, completely black back and tail.
"When she left she was wearing a cat collar just like the one in the photo. It had a barrel attached containing my details. We strongly suspect she has managed to shake this collar off. If you find it or have any potential sightings please can you phone 07749 868692. It may give us a clue to her whereabouts."
