A popular concert paying tribute to some of the country biggest bands returns this Saturday.

Made in Manchester is back again at the Bolton Arena in Horwich.

From tribute bands to Oasis, and Queen, live music will be playing all day.

A spokesman said: “We're back for our fourth year and back to our original, pre-pandemic summer weekend.

“Celebrating the fantastic Manchester music scene we bring you some of the best tributes to the iconic music of Manchester, plus some of the best local homegrown talent Greater Manchester has to offer.”

The line-up incudes DJ Danny B, Harry Wright, and the Steve Ferringo Band.

Taking place over three locations, the event run by Rob Brierley has been a hit since its inception in 2019 but was cancelled during the pandemic.

Once again it is hosted by the legend of a DJ, Dave Sweetmore, who will be playing even more Manchester Classics.

Tickets have now sold out.

Last year, Rob said: ““We had a great turnout in 2019 and then came back after the pandemic last year and we got some great feedback from the local community.

“Made in Manchester is a fun day out for all the family. There’s something for everyone.”

“It was fantastic to finally get the event on last year after the pandemic. The feedback we received was fantastic and we are excited to make this year’s event bigger and better.”

There will also be outdoor bars, food stalls, merchandise, a VIP area, entertainment, a fairground, and more.

More than 1,000 people attended the event in 2021 - the first time it was able to go ahead since the pandemic put a stop to many gigs and performances.
