The kid’s club was found to previously be inadequate in the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.

“For example, there is now a strong emphasis on supporting staff development through training to achieve better outcomes for children.
“This has helped to create a more confident and knowledgeable workforce.”
The inspection recognised that children were greeted with a warm welcome by staff, and that as a result the children were “happy” and “confident” as they entered the nursery.
The report said: “Staff have created a caring and nurturing environment, and they know the children well. This helps children to settle quickly.
“Routines and expectations are clear for children, so they are able to begin to understand how to manage their own behaviour.
“Children, particularly in the pre-school room, show a good attitude towards learning.
“They thrive on positive reinforcement, which helps them to develop a can-do attitude.”
Manager of the nursery Charleen Southern said: "It feels absolutely amazing.
"It has been hard work.
"Myself and the rest of the staff have worked so hard tp get back to the good rating we deserve.
"We changed the staffing structure, the way we teach the children, the curriculum we use as well.
"I am so happy and proud of myself as a manager because Ionly took over in January and it's my first time being a manager.
"The staff are amazing and are dedicated and go above and beyond for the children and the families."
Inspector Joanne Valek says that when it comes to safeguarding “more robust” risk assessments had been implemented.
A variety of learning experiences are also now provided at the nursery, including exercises for babies, and crafts for children to use their imagination.
It said: “Overall, children have many opportunities to acquire knowledge and skills in all areas of their development.
“Staff understand the curriculum and implement it well.
“They plan interesting experiences for children, which ensures that their individual learning needs are met.
“As a result, children are making good progress in their development.”
The report added the manager Charleen Southern has introduced books into all areas of the nursery, which has helped children who would not usually seek out a book in the reading area to become more interested in them.
