A restaurant in Bolton has been forced to close for the evening after flooding in its dining area.
The rain has affected the Toby Carvery located on Crompton Way.
The weather has changed suddenly with rain now expected after a heatwave.
The business is still open for orders for takeaways.
Toby Carvery said in a post: "We are extremely sorry to announce but unfortunately we are having to close our doors for dining in for the night due to the adverse weather conditions leading to our dining area flooding.
We are still open for takeaways across all platforms, Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
We apologise profusely to everyone who had booked a table with us and hope you enjoy your evening.
The Bolton branch of the restaurant was refurbished in 2020.
