Beautiful tributes have been paid to a 27-year-old man who tragically died in a motorbike crash.

James Mitchell died on Tuesday night in a crash on Moss Bank Way between Captains Clough Road and Halliwell Road.

Mr Mitchell has been described as someone "who would do anything for anybody" and a Go Fund Me Page has been set up.

One said: “R.I.P James my thoughts are with family and friends.

“It doesn't seem real.”

Another said: “So sad R.I.P James, there won’t be another you, one gone too soon.

“Thinking about all your family.”

Others shared the same sentiment saying that he would be missed by many and that their thoughts remained with the family.

A GoFundMe since been set up in memory of James who has been described as someone who would “help anyone who needed it no matter what”.

The post reads that James will be “sadly missed by many and will never be forgotten.”

And adds:

“My one and only baby brother James Mitchell (Ging) sadly grew his wings last night riding his motorbike.

“As a family we have had a lot of heartbreak in this last four months.

“We lost our dad and now our brother.

“Ging would help anyone who needed it no matter what it was.

“I just hope everyone can help us give him the best sendoff he deserves.

“He was our baby brother, only son, uncle, and nephew, partner, and step daddy.

“He will be sadly missed by many and will never be forgotten.

“Forever 27.

“Rest in peace baby brother we love you always.”

The page has set a target of £2,000.
