Emma started her career at Salford Business Education Partnership, where she focused on delivering educational opportunities for children and young people in Salford.

She said: "I am excited to join the team at BLGC, an organization that supported me as a young person, in the town where I grew up.
"I believe my skills, knowledge, and experience will be valuable in my new role as CEO, and I am looking forward to both the challenges and rewards it will bring."
Not only is Emma’s career to date impressive, but even more-so is that Emma, who grew up in Breightmet, used to be a member of BLGC, benefitting from the charity services in her youth.
The BLGC family says they are " thrilled" to welcome Emma as their new CEO and are "confident that her leadership will inspire and support the youth of Bolton".
Bolton Lads and Girls Club recently underwent a multi-million transformation .
The new youth club is complete with a new fitness suite; Astro turf pitch; music studio; art room; sports hall; a free of charge gym; gaming room; and toilets regardless of gender.
The new kitchen area also offers a hot meal for youngsters at a maximum price of £1, to help with the rise in the cost of living.
Half of the investment has come from individual anonymous donors, whilst the other half has come from funds which were ring fenced over the years for maintenance of the building.
