- Police are appealing for witnesses after the death of a 27-year-old man in a road crash.
- The motorcyclist was travelling along Moss Bank Way between 10.40pm and 11.10pm last night.
- The crash took place between Captains Clough Road and Halliwell Road.
- Emergency services attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
- The road is currently closed while investigations are carried out.
