Police have reported a truck driver who had an "insecure load" on a motorway near Bolton.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) stopped the truck, which had "inadequate load security" on the M61.
The truck’s tachograph was also found to be almost 12 months out of calibration.
Officers reported the driver.
A spokesperson from GMP’s Traffic department said: “Vehicle stopped by GMP Commercial Vehicle Unit after driving along the M61 with inadequate load security.
“Tachograph was also found to be nearly 12 months out of calibration. Load secured and driver reported.”
Greater Manchester Police have previously cracked down on insecure loads near Bolton, with the stretch of motorway where the M60 meets the M62 being the site of stoppages earlier this year.
