An orchestra will perform in beautiful countryside surroundings near Bolton next month.
Rivington Terraced Gardens will host Manchester-based Hallé Orchestra for their "Hallé on the Hill" concert on Friday, July 28.
Starting from 6pm, the orchestra’s 12-piece brass section will play two 45-minute sets.
A licenced and stocked bar and a range of hot food will also be available on the night.
The Hallé was founded in 1858 by Sir Charles Hallé, who believed that music should be for everyone, a belief that is central to the orchestra’s vision today.
Now a registered charity, they work across communities, from schools to care homes, nurturing young talent and bringing music into people’s lives.
Tickets aren’t yet for sale, but will be available on Rivington Terraced Gardens’ website at: https://www.rivingtonterracedgardens.org.uk/shop/
