WE have been inundated with lots of memories from a school photograph from Deane School of Fred Tyldesley and lots of children getting close to nature with a snake.
Amanda Millward said: “I remember Mr Tyldsley, I think he was a science teacher. I went to Deane from 1999- 2004, in fact I was telling my children today about how I had a teacher who called himself Mr T.”
Sam Barnett added: “He was the best teacher. If you didn’t want to stay in class to do work you’d be on farm cleaning or feeding the animals.”
Joe Mc Duwkins said: “He was a class teacher and there was an amazing farm as well good old Deane School.”
Jackie Perkin said: “Mr T was the best teacher ever. He is a legend.”
Betty Pickering said: “My children went there, Fred Tyldesley really cared about the animals. He even went to school on Christmas Day to look after them.”
