Several roads across the borough will be closed in the next couple of weeks while vital water works are undertaken.
Two roads in the town centre will be closed from Friday, June 2 for approximately five weeks while works are ongoing, and one road will have one way traffic.
Blackhorse Street, from Deansgate to Ashburner Street, will have a road closure in place alongside Queen Street from the back of Deansgate to Cheadle Square.
Moor Lane, from Ormrod Street to Deansgate, will have one way traffic signals, with the permitted direction being northbound.
The back of Higher Swan Lane will also have a road closure to be aware of.

From Tuesday, June 13, for approximately three days, the road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on the back of Higher Swan Lane from Settle Street to Paulhan Street to allow water works to take place.
And from Monday, June 12, for around three days, there will be a road closure for the full length of Ridgeway Gates to allow works to take place.
To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, the council is asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
They local authority apologises for any inconvenience the closures may cause to residents and road users.
