A Bolton man has been fined for stealing meat from a supermarket.
Ian Crompton went into Aldi on Vincent Way,Bolton, in January this year and took £49.81 of food.
He admitted the offence when the case called at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court.
Following this he was given a community order which will run for a year.
He was ordered to undergo a drug rehabilitation requirement where he will need to provide samples for 12 months.
Crompton, 49, was also ordered to do 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
The man from Queen Street, Farnworth, was also ordered to pay £49.81 in compensation and fined £40.
