Bolton Arena is offering families an opportunity to take part in a ‘Community Active Day’ where they can start their own health journey.

The day will take place on Sunday, July 16 from 9am to 4pm, and will be a chance for people to try a number of sports and activities.

A spokesman for Bolton Arena said: “We are encouraging people to become more active, the ‘Community Active Day’ enables the arena to showcase a variety of sports and fitness activities for all age groups.

“If you want to try a new sport or look to start your personal fitness journey for the first time, we will have lots of opportunities for you, your friends, family and colleagues.

Bolton Arena’s team of highly qualified coaches will be delivering sessions throughout the day, if you are looking to learn the basic book onto the coaching session or if you fancy a game with you family or friends book a court for some single and double game.”

There are tennis coaching sessions for both adults and children, as well as a group cycle, a boogie bounce dance class, Motiv8 – a high intensity workout, and so many others.

The popular walking football classes for over 50s will also be on at the arena.
