A team of estate agents have raised over £1000 for Bolton Hospice by climbing Scafell Pike.
The team at Harrisons Estate Agents took part in Bolton Hospice's £50 Challenge by climbing Scafell Pike on May 15.
Bolton Hospice’s £50 challenge is where businesses around Bolton are given £50 to kickstart a fundraising campaign.
By the end of July, the hospice will choose a winner in an award ceremony.
On completing the hike, Katie Hibbert: “I have previously done another charity walk in October 2022 up Snowden for the charity MIND and this climb was so much harder but rewarding.”
While Ashleigh Aldred said: “Completing the walk-up Scafell Pike was even more rewarding knowing it was for such a good cause.”
Harrisons Estate Agents set up a Go Fund Me page and raised £955.
Dawn Bell said: “The climb was one of the most challenging experiences I have ever gone through.”
The challenge started on April 1 and will end on June 30.
Natalie Davies said: “I’m proud of my achievement although it was mentally & physically challenging.”
A spokesman for Bolton Hospice said: “Each team will use their £50 stake to try and raise as much money as possible to help Bolton Hospice support local people living with life-limiting illnesses. “
