A 54-year-old man has been charged with burglary as part of a police crackdown in Bolton today, Tuesday.
Steven Roberts, of Duke Street, Bolton, has been charged with non-domestic burglary.

He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates Court tomorrow, Wednesday.
The case is linked to Greater Manchester Police's Operation Avro, which saw officers target a range of crimes across the borough today.
Detective Sergeant Deighton of Bolton’s Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team said: “Investigating burglaries is a top priority for Greater Manchester Police and Bolton’s Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team continue to work closely with CSI to secure vital forensic evidence and obtain charges.
“We are committed to reducing the number of burglaries in our community; however, we perform at our best when we receive information from members of the public.”
