A girl has been taken to hospital after a crash in Astley Bridge this morning, Tuesday.
Emergency services were called just before 8.30am on Moss Bank Way following the incident, which reportedly happened near the Asda store.
North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) say that the crash resulted in the girl having a leg injury.
Police have confirmed that they were on the scene helping NWAS and that the girl reportedly has no life-changing or life-threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for NWAS said: "We’ve taken a girl to hospital with a leg injury following a road traffic collision on Crompton Way.
"We were called at 8.27am."
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for information.
There was also another crash not long afterwards, at around 8.40am, close to the area on Blackburn Road.
This involved a crash between a bus and two vehicles, with no reported injuries.
The road was partially blocked for a short period of time.
There was a build-up of traffic for a couple of hours on the eastbound side of Moss Bank Way following the incident.
