A road was partially blocked in Astley Bridge this morning, Tuesday, after a crash between a bus a "multiple vehicles".
Police were called at around 8.40am following the collision on Blackburn Road.
Police say that there were no reported injuries.
This was a build-up of traffic for a couple of hours on Moss Bank Way Eastbound, with the road being partially blocked.
It is understood that there was also a crash on Moss Bank Way this morning, but further details are yet to be confirmed.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “At around 8.40am on Tuesday, officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a bus and multiple vehicles on Blackburn Road in Bolton.
“Officers attended the scene, and no injuries were reported.”
The force has been contacted to ask how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
