STAFF at Asda have signed up to take part in The BIG Bolton Health Check.
Employees from the store in Burnden Park will be among the first residents in the borough to have the assessment.
The simple 10 minute health check will determine if they are at risk of developing heart disease, which can lead to heart attacks and strokes, within the next 10 years.
Health trainers will be visiting the store today to carry out the assessments.
Other community venues that have signed up to be part of the scheme include bingo halls, barbers, cafes, pubs, DIY stores and community centres.
