A popular pub in Farnworth has reopened its doors after an extensive refurbishment, as well as welcoming a new face behind the bar.
Community favourite The Britannia has had a sizeable investment, which has given the pub a new lease of life, which is part of the award-winning Craft Union company.
As well as an enhanced interior, King Street pub boasts an impressive beer garden which has had a complete overhaul.
The new landlady Stacey Finney has worked in the pub industry since she was aged just 15 after being involved with her family’s work in hospitality.

Stacey has run several pubs herself over the years and is a big supporter of the local community, having previously raised funds for the Wigan and Leigh Hospice.
Stacey said: “I feel honoured to have taken on the role of the new operator at The Britannia.
“I am excited to be bringing a newly refurbished pub to Farnworth with lots to offer for the local community.
“I really hope the customers are going to come on my new journey with me, and with my knowledge and experience make this a success and the best place to be.”
Stacey has already met with the community to discuss raising funds for Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Customers can expect a revamped function room and a new dance floor area.
Other new features in the pub include a dual bar, with cosy seating, as well as a newly installed darts board.
There will also be a whole new sport offering at the pub, with BT Sport and Sky Sports now available throughout the pub on their HD screens.
Across the week, there will now be a whole host of afternoon and evening activities to enjoy, including team darts games, bingo, a quiz, karaoke, DJs, and much more.
A launch party – packed with entertainment - is expected to be held on May 13 to welcome old and new customers.
More information can be found on the pub’s website and Facebook page.
