Over Hulton Heritage Group will be taking visitors back to school.
Julie McKiernan will be giving a talk on "A History of Leigh Grammar School" on Wednesday (May 10) at 7pm.
The talk is designed to take guests "on a swift and sure journey back in time to Leigh Girls' Grammar School (LGGS)".
Julie McKiernan is a freelance writer, creative writing tutor and amateur historian. She specialises in bringing local history to life through scripts, essays, talks and books. In a former life, she was a drama lecturer so she speaks loudly, enjoys wearing costumes and sometimes slips into different characters."
Admission is £4 and under-14s get in free
