Food hygiene inspectors have rated 12 eateries in Bolton in the latest round of inspections.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated seven eateries a four out of five rating, three eateries a three out of five rating and two eateries a one out of five food hygiene rating.
The eateries awarded a four are:
Corner Cafe at 43 Lee Lane, Horwich, Bolton, was rated a four after inspection on March 28.
In the eatery’s inspection report it states both the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are good whilst the management of food safety is generally satisfactory.
FVWL Football Ltd at Eddie Davies Football Academy Lostock Hall Farm, Ox Hey Lane, Lostock, Bolton, was also rated a four on March 28.
The eateries inspection report states the hygienic food handling is very good, the management of food safety is good, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.
Monte Carlo Cafe at 431 Chorley Old Road, Bolton, was rated a four on March 28.
The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are good whilst the management of food safety is generally satisfactory.
The Saddle at 55 Lee Lane, Horwich, Bolton, was rated a four on March 28.
According to the inspection report, the eatery is good for both hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and generally satisfactory for the management of food safety.
201 Sandwich Shop at 201 Lee Lane, Horwich, Bolton was also rated a four on March 28.
The inspection report states the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is very good, the hygienic food handling is good, and the management of food safety is generally satisfactory.
A1 Chip Stop at 280 Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton, was rated a four on March 28 with both the hygienic food handling and the management of food safety are good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.
The final eatery to be awarded a four is Amigos at 207 Darwen Road, Bromley Cross, Bolton; rated on March 28.
Both of the eateries management of food safety and hygienic food handling were rated good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.
Three eateries have also been awarded three out of five food hygiene ratings.

Horwich RMI Club at Ramsbottom Road, Horwich, Bolton; rated on March 28.
The inspection report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.
Imperial kitchen at 242 Deane Church Lane, Bolton; rated on March 28.
The inspection report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.
River Star at 257 Hindley Road, Westhoughton, Bolton, was also rated a three on March 28.
The inspection report states both the management of food safety, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are generally satisfactory whilst the hygienic food handling is good.
Finally, two Bolton eateries have been handed one out of five ratings.
Horwich S/STN at 427 Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton, was rated a one after inspection on March 28.
The eateries cleanliness and condition of facilities and building was rated very good, the hygienic food handling was rated generally satisfactory, and the management of food safety was rated as major improvement necessary.
Clove Indian Takeaway at 335 Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton, was also rated a one on March 28.
Inspectors have stated major improvement is necessary for the management of food safety, improvement is necessary for the hygienic food handling whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.
