Bunting, banners and bows are being installed across the borough this week as families and communities get ready for the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III on Saturday.
And the community of Little Lever has joined in with the festivities with the creation of a display at the memorial.
The items at the display, including a crown, May Pole and dog, were all created by Zoe Byrom from Nelly’s Florist, Little Lever, which has been displayed alongside bunting and banners from the local knit and natter group.

Cllr Andrea Taylor Burke said: “We always like to do a display for occasions to celebrate as a community.
“We do the Remembrance Day, and we did the Jubilee and it makes people smile.
“Residents love to see what we create. The response has been lovely.
“We are also running a competition for the best dressed house.
“To get involved residents just need to send me a photo of their house and address on Facebook or email and the winners will be announced on Monday.”
In the area there will be celebrations ongoing over the bank holiday including various street parties for residents to join in.
