A road in Bolton is set to be closed towards the end of the month due for manhole repairs to take place.
Lostock Junction Lane is set to be closed on May 25 for approximately one day whilst works are ongoing.
The road closure will be in place between 9.30am and 3pm prohibiting all traffic from proceeding on Lostock Junction Lane from Briksdal Way to Glengarth Drive to allow manhole repair works to take place.

Alternative routes for traffic will be via Chorley New Road and Beaumont Road.
To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
