An author will be in Bolton to speak about her new novel.
Shelley Read will be appearing at Bolton Museum next Thursday, May 4, to give a talk on her debut novel "Go as a River".
The book is said to combine unforgettable characters and breath-taking natural settings with a story of survival and love, truth and fate.
The story is set in 1948, when Victoria Nash delivers late-season peaches from her family's farm set amid the wild beauty of Colorado.
As she heads into her village, a dishevelled stranger stops to ask her the way.
How she chooses to answer will unknowingly alter the course of both their young lives.
The talk will begin at 1pm, with free entry.
