Music is being brought to Bolton's Comic Con event next month and the band involved is promising to bring the "perfect live soundtrack".
Sheffield-based retrowave band, Lina and the Lions, are set to perform their unique sound at the event, which will be hosted at The Bolton Stadium Hotel on Saturday, May 27.
The trio, composed of Lina Lane, lead vocals and bass, Lee Feltham, guitar, and joined live by drummer Sam O'Brian, are known for their 80's "Stranger Things" feel and infectious pop that merges retro and modern styles together.

The band first met as young teens in a Sheffield pub and formed their band in 2020.
To date, they've independently released six singles, four music videos, a full-length album Second Nature, an acoustic EP, and recently a synthwave remix EP.
Their vibrant sound fuses classic 80s new wave with glimmering synthesizers and bass lines, all underpinned by Lina's vocals.
Lina, lead singer, has expressed her excitement about performing at Bolton Comic Con.
She said: "We are so excited to play at Bolton Comic Con.
“We love Comic Cons, and every time we attend one, we used to wish that there was some live music going on that would give the event a soundtrack.
“Now we are honoured that we get to do that!
“We have just successfully completed a UK HMV tour and performed at Comic Con World Blackpool last weekend.”
As cosplayers, film buffs, and fantasy lovers prepare for the much-anticipated event, they will have the added soundtrack of Lina and the Lions' dynamic sound.
Fans of the band, as well as newcomers to their sound, are in for an unforgettable performance at Bolton Comic Con, according to Lina.
