Bolton's Helen Flanagan will join a whole host of famous faces to put on the style at a special fashion show.

The former Coronation Street star will appear alongsideDame Joanne Lumley and Brooke Vincent in Manchester tomorrow to raise funs for NSPCC's  Childline.

Around 150 guests will attend the sold-out event at the Midland Hotel on April 21.

With last year’s show raising £17,000 for Childline, which has a base in Salford.

Joanna Lumley said she was honoured to throw her support behind the cause.

In a video recorded for the event, she said: “Last year, an astonishing £17,000 was raised but this year let’s smash it.

“All the money is going to Childline for Manchester and Liverpool, helping children who desperately need our help.

“By helping raise money you are making a huge different, so let’s do it.”

Fashion firms Black White Denim and Bow & Bo have worked with the NSPCC to put on the show.

Bow & Bo, who specialise in ethical and organic clothes will show off their designs on the night.

Black White Denim is also a sustainable clothing brand.

Estate agents Knight Frank and finance advisors Rosebridge are the headline sponsors for the night.

As well as a display of clothes, attendees will enjoy live music, a two-course meal and an auction hosted by a comedian, and a raffle with a star prize being a holiday to Italy.

Bev Brocklehurst, NSPCC Community Fundraiser in the North West, said: “We’re thrilled to have such big names supporting our amazing fashion show. It’s going to be a brilliant night.

“Joanna Lumley is one of the most recognisable faces on British television, so to have her record a video for the night is a mega boost and I’m sure it will encourage even bigger donations than last year.

“Coronation Street is one of the more popular shows in the country, so having Brooke Vincent and Helen Flanagan hosting the show is the icing on the cake. It truly will be a star-studded event.

“Nights like this allow the NSPCC and Childline to continue our important child protection work. We are so grateful to our celebrity endorsements and to everyone who donates and buys tickets for events like this.”
