A concert performance of the famous opera Carmen will take place in Bolton next month.
Bolton Symphony Orchestra will be collaborating with Bolton Music Service (BMS) Singers and Bolton Catholic Musical and Choral Society (BCMCS) for a concert performance of Georges Bizet’s classic.
The performance will take place at The Victoria Hall on Knowsley Street from 7.30pm on Saturday, May 13.
The four main roles will be played by Georgina Crowe (Carmen), Michael Jones (Don Jose), Carlo Asuni (Escamillo) and Helen Latham (Micaela).
Set in 1820s Seville, Carmen is a four-act opera which follows soldier Don Jose in his pursuit for the eponymous Carmen’s attention.
Members of BCMCS and the BMS Singers will be playing the smaller roles.
All adult tickets are £12, with under 19s able to attend for free.
