An outdoor activities centre that has long been a favourite with visitors from Bolton has unveiled its bank holiday activities.
The activities will be held at the Anderton Centre, part of the University of Bolton group, on New Road, Anderton, near lower Rivington, as part of an open day on Monday May 1.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in canoeing and kayaking to archery climbing and more.
An Anderton Centre spokesperson said: “The centre, located in the stunning Lancashire countryside next to Lower Rivington Reservoir, offers a wide range of fun and exciting activities for all ages.”
He added: "The open day is the perfect opportunity to explore all that the centre has to offer.
“You will have the chance to meet friendly staff and experienced instructors on hand to answer any questions you may have about the centre’s programmes and activities.
"You can take part in taster sessions of the most popular activities and discover new favourites.
“There will also be exclusive discounts available on our courses and programmes for open day attendees.”

Gates at the centre will open at 10am, with the last activity taster session set to finish at 3.30pm.
Admission is £5 per person but free for children under six.
